Spotlight on Charity Adoption

Working with non-profit organisations (NPOs) on an adhoc or intermittent basis makes it difficult for a company to develop meaningful relationships and engage their employees fully. Instead, if a company identifies a cause to support and ‘adopts’ an NPO this provides an opportunity for them to create much deeper engagement. By focusing on a specific community need and developing a collaborative partnership with an NPO, a company can work towards achieving more sustainable giving goals, measure their long-term impact, and create a genuine narrative about why they give and to whom they give.

For NPOs, having a deep-rooted partnership with a company gives them security and breathing space to focus on improving services for beneficiaries rather than on generating income or securing resources.
