Board service
Serving as a member of the Board of a non profit organisation on a volunteer basis.

Cause related marketing
Type of marketing campaign where a company and non-profit organisation (NPO) form a partnership with each other to market an image, product or service for mutual benefit. For example, a utility company offers to donate $1 to an environmental NPO if a customer switches to paper-less billing. Or, for every packet of noodles sold, a retailer will donate $2 to an NPO.

Corporate community investment (CCI)
Long term and strategic giving back to the community by a company to address particular needs or community issues. Corporate Foundation Serves as a formal channel for a company to make financial grants for charitable purposes, but is a separate legal entity to the parent company. Its resources/funds are normally made up of contributions from the parent company, contributions from employees, interests on assets etc.

Corporate giving
The giving of time, talent and treasure by a company to a non profit organisation, including donations in cash, donation in kind, employee volunteerism etc.
