Establishing what you want to achieve through your employee volunteer programme at the outset means you can plan and execute a more structured and directed programme to achieve the impact you are looking for. Likewise, evaluating what you actually accomplish versus your goals gives you the opportunity to continuously refine and grow your volunteering initiatives as well as communicate progress to your stakeholders, particularly your employees.
