We've seen the wonders of paint in transforming a house into a home for underprivileged communities, but AkzoNobel knows it can do more than just sprucing up. Aside from researching how paints, for instance, can hold air-cleansing properties, they've even roped in colour scheme experts to see how they can create the illusion of space and provide a pleasant home for its consumers and its community. As Ms Angela Tan, director of communications and investor relations at AkzoNobel South-east Asia, South Asia, Middle East and Australasia says, "The best CSR (corporate social responsibility) practices are those that are integrated into the business strategy, by bringing more value to our customers, employees, investors and society in general."
