Champions of Good team up to do more
Magic happens when different parties come together to do good.
Pro Bono School—a programme developed by Empact with Procter & Gamble and Credit Suisse coming on board as partners—strengthens capability building for non-profit organisations and social enterprises, empowering them to better drive social impact.
The corporate volunteers benefit from the initiative as well, as they transfer their skills and knowledge for a good cause in a meaningful and fulfilling experience.
The three organisations were recognised as #ChampionsofGood2022 last month.
“The programmes foster a sense of belonging, strength, unity and resilience among communities in Singapore," Cecilia Tan, P&G’s vice-president of global government relations and public policy, Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa, said.
"They also sharpen our sense of purpose and bring us closer together as a society.”
Earlier this week, Pro Bono School was awarded the President’s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards (PVPA) – City of Good category, which recognises impactful cross-sector partnerships.
